01

Your weight won’t budge.

You’ve cut calories, started working out, and stayed consistent for months—yet the scale is not moving.

Weight resistance usually has a root cause: thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, hormonal changes, or chronic stress may be contributing. We investigate the underlying factors and create a personalized plan to help you move forward.

Our goal isn’t to have you eat less; it’s to help your body work better. We focus on realistic habits that you can implement without getting overwhelmed, balanced and simple nutrition changes, and treating the factors that may be making weight loss harder.

02

Every diet works for a week. Then stops.

You’ve tried keto, low-fat, and intermittent fasting. Each one works briefly, then plateaus.

Often, insulin resistance, stress load, or sleep deprivation is behind the plateau. We investigate all the factors before recommending any plan.

03

You’ve been told it’s just age or stress.

In your 40s, perimenopause, thyroid dysfunction, and chronic stress can affect your weight, energy, sleep, and mood. We look beyond symptoms to uncover the hormonal patterns behind these changes.

04

Your stomach looks six months pregnant by the end of the day.

Digestive dysfunction, food sensitivities, and changes in the gut microbiome can all contribute to weight loss. We investigate the root cause to help reduce bloating, improve constipation or diarrhea, and improve gut health.

05

Your thyroid panel came back “normal.”

Your TSH is “in range,” but you’re still feeling exhausted, cold, foggy, or struggling with stubborn weight.

A normal TSH doesn’t always tell the whole story. We may recommend a more comprehensive thyroid assessment, including Free T3, Free T4, and thyroid antibodies.

Scope of care

Do your Naturopathic Doctors prescribe weight-loss medication?

No. We do not prescribe medication. Our scope is naturopathic assessment, personalized nutrition and lifestyle guidance, and evidence-based supplements. If prescription medication is indicated, we work with your family physician or a nurse practitioner.
