why i do what I do

As a young girl, I was always so confused when it came to my weight loss journey; having a hormonal imbalance only made it harder.

Guided by “Dr. Google”, I started trying random supplements, restrictive regimes and jumped from protocol to protocol to find my best self. But I felt overwhelmed by so much information and stuck in a vicious cycle because I was only addressing the superficial concerns.

I KNEW something was missing!

In 2013, I found health care professionals, which included a naturopath. She cared enough to listen to me, validated my health concerns, tested the right lab markers to diagnose and figure out the root cause. I was diagnosed with PCOS, Iron-def anemia and disordered eating habits. Then, my journey began to rebalance with a treatment that aligned with nature’s principles. I was in awe of the wholistic approach that incorporated body’s physiology and mindset/habit patterns.

Fast forward 5 years, in 2018, I became a Naturopathic Doctor. I feel blessed to be able to provide the emotional support and naturopathic treatment I was given.

I make sure to give my patients space to express, and I listen carefully to their story. Through an in-depth intake and lab testing, I figure out “the why” to your symptoms. I educate you about your health status. Then, I use supplements, herbs, acupuncture and homeopathy to improve your symptoms while building a foundation with nutrition and physical movement.

I always include practical ways to increase your emotional resilience to different stressors, so you can stick to healthy habits and stay grounded through the ups and downs of life’s challenges. Life is a beautiful mess and we need to learn to adapt and continue to grow. I will support you to keep on going and to not give up on your health journey.

My mission is to help you engage in your fullest potential and have a healthier body and happier mind.
